Shane Clatterbuck - PT, DPT, Cert DN DIRECTOR OF SCOTTSDALE CLINIC, Physical Therapist
Shane was born and raised in Nebraska where he attended the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a major in Exercise Science. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2009 and began with Endurance Rehab in July of that year.
Shane is certified in ASTYM, dry needling, and designing custom orthotics. He specializes in treatment of athletes with upper and lower extremity issues to determine biomechanical component cause and resolution. His techniques focus on addressing joint, soft tissue and movement restrictions to design appropriate manual therapy and therapeutic exercises to correct impairments for optimal performance. Additional areas of study have included orthopedics and sports rehab, with an emphasis on overhead throwing mechanics while interning with a professional baseball team.
Shane is dedicated to continuing education to further his knowledge and therapeutic practice. He has co-presented at a Continuing Education class on Medical Bike fit and Dry needling for associated pathologies. He has also led educational sessions within the medical community and for competitive athletes. He designs and teaches a core class at Endurance Rehab which focuses on dynamic core strength and mobility within a safe movement pattern.
He lives with his wife in North Scottsdale, where they enjoy hiking, camping and volleyball. He also enjoys mountain biking, playing competitive soccer, tennis and resistance training.
Ian Chapple - PT, Cert DN Physical Therapist
Ian Chapple grew up in South Africa and came over to the United States to play Division I soccer. He earned his degree in a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University Of Louisville in 2000. Ian has lived in Arizona for the last 13 years and is married with four beautiful children. Ian has continued his passion for sports and fitness by coaching junior soccer and is an avid distance runner.
Ian has specialized in all sports and orthopedic physical therapy with an emphasis in human movement, manual therapy, biomechanical analysis, custom orthotic prescription, and the treatment of orthopedic related injuries. His treatment philosophy is functional, utilizing prescriptive corrective strengthening and flexibility exercises. Ian has worked with athletes and the active population at all levels.
Ian has also specialized in treating overuse running injuries with a focus in the biomechanics of the foot and ankle and custom orthotics. Ian’s passion is treating and educating patients of all levels to gain a better understanding of their body to be able to function at their greatest potential in life.
Karen Soltysik - PT Physical Therapist
Karen grew up in Pittsburgh where she graduated with her Bachelors in Athletic Training and her Masters in PT from the University of Pittsburgh. Karen has extensive clinical experience with many types of orthopedic dysfunction, cervico-genic dizziness, vestibular disorders and Bell's Palsy. Karen also has extensive education in an approach to treatment of the asymmetrical nature of the body known as Postural Restoration.
Her focus is to ultimately become certified in this approach that addresses the primary contributions of postural kinematic movement dysfunction. Karen is active with hiking, running, yoga, boxing and ballet barre workouts.

Jason Krings PT, DPT, CSCS
Jason was born and raised in Nebraska where he attended the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a major in Exercise Science. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Jason is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has enjoyed working with athletes of all ages and sports. His treatment philosophy is to correct muscle imbalance and teach proper movement mechanics to improve performance whether that be at a competitive level or relative to daily functional ability. Jason uses a combination of manual therapy, corrective exercises, and flexibility exercises to create individualized plans for patient success. Jason is dedicated to life-long learning and is always looking for ways to expand knowledge to provide the best treatment available.
In his free time Jason enjoys golf, snowboarding, mountain biking, and resistance training.
Alexander Stanley ATC
Alexander Stanley is a BOC certified and Arizona licensed Athletic Trainer. He was born in the bay area of California but spent a significant amount of his life in Arizona. He graduated from Tonopah Valley High School where he competed as an athlete in football, baseball, and track & field.
After high school, Alex became a nationally certified and Arizona licensed EMT that worked in tribal EMS while attending Grand Canyon University. He received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and in-depth clinical experience with varying sport settings in the valley that ranged from high schools, community colleges, division I universities, and professional athletics. Alex also interned with Gatorade, the Arizona Rattlers, and Banner Concussion Center.
Alex has a passion for what he does and utilizes his clinical experience with evidence-based practice in his work. He is personable and gets to really know who he is working with to assist in making a plan that is personalized and successful for the goals being achieved.
He is a servant to the surrounding community and provides athletic training services to Scottsdale Preparatory Academy throughout their athletic seasons. GO SPARATANS!!!
Alex enjoys spending time with friends and family. He loves to go on adventures and travel around the world with his wife before eventually settling down and starting a family.

Mike DoVico PT, ATC, Cert DN Physical Therapist
Mike was born and raised in Arizona and attended Arizona State University where he majored in Kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training. After graduating in 2003 he worked at Mesa Community College as an assistant athletic trainer. He then returned to school 3 years later and graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy. He joined Endurance Rehab but then left in 2012 to pursue his dream of living in the Mile High City. There he worked with the youth athlete returning many athletes back to higher level sports and is proud to graduate over 40 athletes to D1 sports as well as 3 to the national teams in their respective sports in just 5 years.
Mike’s clinical area of expertise is in the evaluation, treatment and prevention of orthopedic conditions. His clinical interests include sports medicine/athletic training, the running athlete and the active adult. Mike is certified in ASTYM and Dry Needling but also utilizes many manual techniques as well as corrective exercises to return his patients to their activities; no matter how young or old. Outside of the clinic Mike enjoys running half marathons, strength training and running after his son and daughter.
Andi Felton - C.S.C.S. CPT Exercise Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer
Andi grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. She earned her degree in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas, and moved to Scottsdale in 1999. Her own injury brought her here to Endurance Rehab, where she now devotes her energy towards helping others achieve their potential. She demonstrates an ongoing commitment to both the local youth and Endurance Rehab clients through a number of training and outreach programs. Chances for Children Arizona is her most recent example of this commitment as she coached 45 runners to a successful finish in the 2009 Rock and Roll Marathon. Andi's involvements in the local running community encompass event planning, volunteering, coaching, and organizing educational clinics. Her personal involvement includes competing in Marathons and Ultra distances. However her success is not measured by her personal achievements, but by the triumphs of others.
Jim Gibson Practice Liaison and Performance Specialist
Jim first entered the Health and Fitness industry as a one on one personal trainer. From there, he began composing and teaching group fitness classes in addition to training his clientele individually. After four years of helping clients achieve their health goals in the gym setting in 2009 Jim came to Endurance Rehab where he has helped his clients bridge the gap between their success in rehabilitating injuries and realizing their physical fitness after. He believes strongly that for an individual to be able to achieve his or her health, weight, and/or strength improvement goals, the body must be physically prepared and strengthened in key ways to ensure that injury is prevented and success will follow. At Endurance Jim meets with individual clients to help them meet their fitness and performance goals; many of them immediately after the completion of their therapy. Additionally, he oversees the Core Conditioning Classes offered several times per week. Jim has earned his B.S. in Kinesiology from Arizona State University, where he also minored in Small Business.
Nate Koch PT, A.T.C, Cert DN Owner Endurance Rehab
Nathan received his physical therapy degree and his certification in Athletic Training from Saint Louis University in 1996. While attending the university he provided sports medicine to NCAA Division I men's and women's athletics (at SLU and the University of Nebraska) and worked in the Biomechanics lab as a research assistant, where his work was published. Nathan then spent 3 seasons working part-time for the St. Louis Rams and full-time for a Sports Medicine Clinic in St. Louis, Missouri.
In 2003 Nathan founded Endurance Rehab with the goal of providing the most complete and comprehensive physical therapy and performance training available to endurance athletes. Endurance Rehab has been nationally and locally recognized for its injury recovery and prevention techniques by AZ Channel 3, AZ Channel 15, Active.Com, Arizona Republic, Sweat Magazine, Pez Cycling.Com, CyclingNews.com, Bike World TV, bicycleradio.com and Competitor Magazine. Clients include: professional cyclists/triathletes/baseball/football/basketball players and golfers, race car drivers, ultra runners, collegiate athletes, elite ice skaters, firefighters, police officers, CEO's of Fortune 500 companies and everyday recreational athletes.
Nathan has been an educator to fellow therapists, presenting on "Core Strengthening for the Endurance Athlete." Nathan has been a contributing writer for LAVA magazine and Triathlete Magazine on topics related to injury prevention and injury recovery. With over 19 years experience performing medical bike fits, he currently teaches for Cyclologic. He has also taught for the world re-known Serotta International Cycling Institute (SICI).
Nathan has served as the PT consultant to Trek Segafredo Professional Cycling Team since Dec 2015.
Supporting the community and those in need is a priority for Nathan and the rest of the staff at Endurance Rehab. As evidence to this fact, each full-time employee is allowed extra days of paid vacation for volunteer work with a recognized non-profit.
