Wolfgang Oswald, PT OCS

Wolfgang Oswald Wolfgang earned his Physical Therapy degree from Northern Illinois University in 2000, and was board certified by the American Physical Therapy Association in orthopedic physical therapy in 2005 (OCS).

Wolfgang’s clinical interests include orthopedic manual therapy and sports medicine involving biomechanical assessment and treatment approach. Wolfgang performs advanced medical bicycle fitting and running gait analysis. Wolfgang currently teaches advanced bicycle fitting/biomechanics for SICI (Serotta International Cycling Institute).

Wolfgang has instructed orthopedic manual therapy at the graduate level at Northern Illinois University and A.T Still University (one of two PT program in Arizona). Past teaching has also included performance enhancement consultation for the NIU NCAA Div 1 men’s tennis team. Wolfgang has been published in peer review medical journals (including JOSPT-Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical therapy-article related to foot/ankle biomechanics, and Spanish sports medicine journal on cycling aerodynamics and cycling power). He is a contributing writer for Triathlete Magazine, the worlds largest triathlon mag, and LAVA (Ironman Brand triathlon magazine).

Wolfgang is originally from Brisbane, Australia where he played semi-professional tennis before coming to the US on scholarship to play collegiate NCAA Div 1 tennis. His current interests include playing tennis and competing in cycling and triathlon events. Wolfgang is fluent in Spanish.
