Nathan received his physical therapy degree from Saint Louis University in 1996. While at Saint Louis University he also received his certification in athletic training. His clinical area of expertise is in the evaluation, treatment and prevention of orthopedic and sports injuries. Intensive training and work experience over the past 10 years have allowed him the opportunity to put professional, Olympic, college and high school athletes back in their game. Karen grew up in Pittsburgh where she graduated with her Bachelors in Athletic Training and her Masters in PT from the University of Pittsburgh. Karen has extensive clinical experience with many types of orthopedic dysfunction, cervico-genic dizziness, vestibular disorders and Bell's Palsy. Karen also has extensive education in an approach to treatment of the asymmetrical nature of the body known as Postural Restoration.
Her focus is to ultimately become certified in this approach that addresses the primary contributions of postural kinematic movement dysfunction. Karen is active with hiking, running, yoga and ballet barre workouts.
Christina Merkl, PT, DPT Physical Therapist (Email)
Christina graduated in 2008 with Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Buffalo. Upon graduation, she worked closely with Orthopedic Surgeons in New York to develop post-operative protocols and treat a wide variety of orthopedic injuries. In late 2011, Christina moved to Arizona and joined Endurance Rehab. Since arriving at Endurance, she has provided exceptional orthopedic rehab based on an exercise and hands-on based philosophy for injuries ranging from sciatica to post-surgical care. Christina is an avid runner, likes drop kicking field goals, and loves hanging out with her dogs and, of course, her husband.
